The D’Adamo Institute in Portsmouth, NH, Seeks Naturopathic Doctor
As healthcare providers specializing in a holistic approach to individual health, naturopathic doctors are relied upon as experts in environmental medicine – from the prevention of harmful exposures, to the safe and effective management of toxic burdens. This year’s annual conference will provide practitioners with actionable information that they can apply in clinical practice.
Naturopathic doctors, researchers, naturopathic students, and other holistic allied healthcare providers are invited to Hershey, PA on October 12th and 13th to hear from experts in the field of environmental medicine. Topics addressed in this two day continuing education conference will range from the identification of signs and symptoms of environmental toxicity, to laboratory testing and monitoring, to the myriad methods of helping patients reclaim their health. Attendees should expect to earn approximately 8 CME credits certified by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Located just 90 minutes from Philadelphia and Baltimore, 2 hours from Washington DC, and 3 hours from New York City, the Hershey Lodge is easily accessible to naturopathic doctors across Pennsylvania and the wider the Mid-Atlantic Region. Bring the whole family – from botanical gardens, to award-winning golf courses, to an indoor water park and a chocolate museum, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
The Pennsylvania Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PANP) was founded in the early 1980’s by naturopathic pioneers, Gere Reisinger and Jeff Feingold. Michael Reece, ND, a recent Bastyr University graduate, assumed the role of President in 1983, and early board meetings were held at Dr. Reece’s home in New Holland, PA.
The PANP was one of the first states on the East Coast to establish an annual continuing education conference. PANP Conference have become a mainstay in the field of naturopathic medicine for NDs from New England to Washington DC.
The PANP began seeking state licensure for naturopathic doctors in 2000, and in November 2016, after almost 20 years, House Bill 516 registering naturopathic doctors was signed into law by Governor Tom Wolf. In existence for nearly forty years, the PANP has grown from a small group of naturopathic doctors meeting in a living room in New Holland, to over fifty dedicated and enthusiastic naturopathic doctors who live and practice from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, and many, many points in between.
